Myth 1: Everyone working in recruiting speaks English

Myth 2: Your recruiter will be able to find a job for you

Reasons: Depending on the company job description, a recruiter may be able to have a copy of the job description. The recruiter may also be able to have an applicant profile for you. Myth 5: If a recruiter finds a job for you, he or she is ” Kidstuff “

Kids these days know how to use the Internet, and there is nothing kids and recruiters like more than meeting an Internet stranger who is willing to give them information regarding their field of employment. Unfortunately, recruiters tend to be more absorbed with their field of expertise and the companies they represent.

Additionally, some recruiters are not willing to do simple things like ask for an interview or schedule an in-person interview. Kid stuff is generally not their area of expertise. They understand that the Internet represents a vast reaches of searching and recruiting targets. They generally are too busy to join JobFairs or use the newspaper to find out about job fairs.

Employers should be aware of recruiters who are willing to meet in-person, or to have a telephone conversation. They should be able to get an interview because they deserve some credibility in front of hiring managers.

Systems, processes, and procedures improve when there is a contact. If the recruiter is knowledgeable of the processes and systems in place, she or he may be able to provide extra understanding and credibility to the employer.

Reasons: This is an easy way to build a community of recruiters. They may become your advocate and be able to refer you to a hiring manager because of their relationship with the recruiter. They become your trusted source of the information.

8. Search online job boards

Reason: This includes general government job boards, company career boards, etc.

There are many employers who post their jobs on job boards because they do not want to be bothered by candidates sending in their resumes to their human resources department, for whom it is not usually possible to send a candidate’s resume.
